Loanne began studying landscape design at NC State 20 years ago, even though her first degree was in microbiology. Throughout her entire life, she has always loved designing outdoor spaces. Growing up on a farm in the Northwest set the stage for her passion in design, plants and gardening. She enjoys working and playing outside with her 23 grandchildren and plants.

“Retirement” isn’t really in her vocabulary. She is always busy designing, working in the yard, attending her grandchildren’s events and sewing. She is a landscape artist with a keen eye for design that encompasses all the seasons.
