STANDARDS

It is expected to maintain our standard for friendliness with each customer and creating a positive interaction with each customer we come across.

We have three standards: Welcoming, Productive, and Knowledgable.

Welcoming:

  • Customers come first, set aside what you are doing to help a customer

  • Be friendly and say hi to every customer

  • notice if they need assistance, and offer to help

  • Remember to smile

Productive:

  • There is always something to do, look at the to do list, or ask your team leader for a task

  • There shouldn’t be a cluster of workers hanging around the register

  • Always have the phones covered, if one person is staying at the register, someone else needs to take the one of the phones with them

Knowledgeable:

  • You don’t have to know everything, but at least know how to find out/learn about things

  • Familiarize yourself with the layout of the property, and types of soil, you can always refer to the maps and handouts
